Two mommies came into our care with their babies. After giving them some time to settle, we had one of the moms spayed and returned her to her home. She was simply too protective and aggressive toward us to feel comfortable staying. The second mommy — the one we lovingly call Cersei — was easier to handle. but she made her boundaries very clear, and we made sure to give her the space she needed while she raised her babies safely until we spayed and returned her.
