Gemma was found on the side of the road in really poor shape. She had skin issues, open wounds, we couldn’t even tell what color she was. And she was so skinny! And yet… so cute and sweet!
Gemma is under treatment for a variety of things. Her skin is improving nicely, but she will most likely have some time until she’s ready, as she is heartworm positive.
Gemma is barky and sassy like all dacshhounds, she dances and prances when she’s happy and she loves cuddles and attention.
Gemma is now avaialble for adoption, she has finished her HW treatment so there are some long term considerations but she has been cleared to be adopted.
