This girl was rescued from the streets of Cancun, and it was pretty obvious this was not safe for her. She’s loving, more like adoring. She is loyal from the start and loves blindly, and while it’s obvious she’s been disappointed before, it’s also clear she’s willing to give life another chance.
When she arrived at the shelter she was shy, hiding as far away as possible inside her crate… but it took less than a day for her to come out of her shell and start wagging her tail and looking at us with her sad eyes full of love. Truly a little gem… she’s still getting used to the routine and soon will be with the other dogs, for now she’s enjoying some peace and quiet… and cuddles!
Joy, while loving and curious, clearly has a preference for women over men, and it takes her a bit longer to warm up to men…
