Steve was found in the streets in one regular trip out of the house. We never have to look for them, they are everywhere!
We went to pet him and he looked at us resigned and with the saddest eyes. A bag of bones, curled in a corner or a dirt road, furless and just a sad looking thing. We picked him up and he didn’t complain. So he made it to Oasis and became part of the Isla Animals Family.
We named him Steve in honot to a dear friend and volunteer who passed away last year. He was very dear to us, and also looked skinny and scruffy like our Steve. We know he approves from wherever he is 🙂
Steve has started to shine… with more weight and more fur, he feels now a lot happier and has even become playful. He was always comfortable around humans and we will soon integrate him to the pack and see how he does. He is NOT yet ready for adoption, we think by the end of February he will be ready and looking for his perfect family! 🙂
