Hawk is the newest addition to the Isla pack and we are so delighted to have him! He was brought to us by a local woman who claimed she had found Hawk and his 4 siblings in the jungle and had given the other ones away. She had Hawk in a cereal box inside a bag. He was so sad looking and his front legs weren’t working properly.

We did X-rays and started to figure out what was wrong with him… He was just malnourished! We started giving him the best food and soon he was running around being the best puppy ever.

He is playful and sweet, loves his toys, and is now growing healthy and strong! We are so happy with his improvement!!!

Hawk will be ready for adoption around Feb 10, he’s currently in foster, but soon you will be able to meet him if you come visit our shelter in the big palapa of Mundaca, here in Isla Mujeres!
