Vela was surrendered to us along with her 4 siblings at our Rancho Viejo mini clinic. It is in the poor area of Isla Mujeres on the mainland with little access to veterinary care. They were malnourished and undersocialized. They have blossomed under our care with Vela and her sister Ursa being very playful and almost identical. Vela just has more sold colored  ears than her sister Ursa! They are such happy pups, love to play with dogs and people!
